| Crestline Village Water District
was formed in 1954 to serve water to the
Crestline Village area. In 1979, the District was asked to serve water to
the Lake Gregory area. Today, the District serves water to about 4,880
properties within its service area. The District's service area is
divided into the Crestline Division
and the Lake
Gregory Division.
Which Division am I in? The first two numbers of your account number indicates which division your property is in. The Crestline Division includes accounts beginning with 00 through 42. The Lake Gregory Division includes accounts beginning with 45 through 93. Water Rates: The District's
current water rates became effective July 2004.
The District had previously maintained the water rates at the same level for
11 years. At their Board
meeting on April 17, 2007, the Board of Directors approved the budget for
fiscal year 2007-08 which begins on May 1, 2007. There
was no change to the water rate schedules.

(1) Crestline Division: This division's meters are read beginning the first work day after the 1st of each month. The bills are mailed about 1 week later and are due the 1st of the following month. If the balance is unpaid, the next bill indicates the date by which the amount must be paid to avoid delinquency charges and shut off for non-payment of the water bill. (2) Lake Gregory Division: In 1979, when the District began serving the Lake Gregory area, there were a lot of improvements that were needed to bring that system into compliance with State regulations and there was an amount that had to be paid to the prior owner of the Lake Gregory water system. The Minimum Monthly Charge was set $4.50 higher than the rate for the rest of the district to fund the acquisition and improvements that were needed. Over the last 25 years, almost all of the water mains have been replaced and the water storage tanks refurbished or replaced. This division's meters are read beginning the first work day after the 15th of each month. The bills are mailed about 1 week later and are due the 15th of the following month. If the balance is unpaid, the next bill indicates the date by which the amount must be paid to avoid delinquency charges and shut off for non-payment of the water bill.
